Each length is 6.1ft with a hook at either end, so you can join as many as you need into one continuous run. Most people use one to four across a mantel depending on width, two down a table, and two or three around a front door. Don't cut it — the steel core runs the full length.

Fluff it first — work along the garland pulling side branches away from the wire, alternating up, down and out. If a branch won't hold its shape, pass a hairdryer on low heat slowly over it from about a foot away and bend the tips while warm; they'll set as they cool. Never use a heat gun or hold heat on one spot, and run two lengths side by side rather than end to end if you want more volume.

Fan the branches back toward the core, coil it loosely rather than folding it sharply, and return it to the original box. Keep it dry and out of direct sunlight and it'll look the same next December.
